(RIVERVIEW, FLA – February 7, 2013) — Marking the release of the first cleaning aerosol solution / maintenance solution designed to address the unique needs of mini-split air conditioning units, today BBJ Environmental Solutions announced the launch of the BBJ Mini-Split Maintenance Kit. 

Comprised of BBJ Micro Coil Clean® and BBJ Mold Control® for HVAC System and Air Ducts, the kit is a two-step solution that incorporates a powerful, yet safe-for-coils coil cleaner with an EPA registered antimicrobial growth inhibitor in convenient aerosol packages making storage, transport and application fast and easy.

“Ductless mini-split systems  comprise an estimated 5% of the total market of unitary air conditioner installs, yet, the adoption of mini-splits in the U.S. is growing nearly 12% year over year, a pace that is faster than the overall market,” says Robert Baker, general manager of BBJ Environmental Solutions.  “While many maintenance products exist for air conditioning systems, few have been designed to specifically enable technicians service the mini-split coils and managed bacteria and odor, and BBJ Environmental solutions sought to be the first to fill this marketplace void.”
